Whale mode: claim anonymously
Why whales get followed
Every on-chain transaction you make links back to your wallet. Explorers and tracking bots index those links, label recurring wallets, and alert followers when a known wallet moves. If you reclaim a sizeable amount, a publicly visible claim transaction is a beacon: it tells watchers exactly which wallet owns it.
What Whale mode hides
With Whale mode on, your claims still count toward the site's public totals β but your wallet address and transaction hash are stripped from every public surface: the live claims ticker, the weekly and all-time leaderboards, the public ledger API and the stats page. They show as an 'Anonymous whale π' instead. You still see your own transaction in your wallet and on any explorer β we simply never publish the link.
What it can't hide (honest limits)
Blockchains are public by design: anyone who already knows your address can watch it directly, with or without us. Whale mode removes ClaimYourETH as a broadcast channel β it doesn't make your wallet invisible. For maximum privacy, claim from a wallet that isn't publicly linked to you.
How to turn it on
In the reclaim flow, flip the π Whale mode toggle before signing. The choice is remembered per browser, applies to every claim you record, and the platform's public pages update instantly β anonymous entries carry the same weight, just without your name on them.
