How to unwrap WETH (and get your ETH back)

Unwrapping, step by step

WETH is a simple smart contract: deposit() wraps ETH, withdraw() unwraps it. Calling withdraw with your balance returns the same amount as native ETH to your wallet β€” no oracle, no price, no swap. The only cost is gas.

One balance is easy. Four chains are not.

The manual way means visiting each WETH contract on each chain, connecting, and calling withdraw per balance. ClaimYourETH scans all your chains, shows every WETH balance with its USD value, and unwraps everything you select in one batched flow.

What it costs

You pay network gas for the transaction. On Ethereum mainnet that can be a few dollars; on Base, Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain it's usually cents. ClaimYourETH includes a small donation from unwrapped WETH β€” always shown in full before you sign. Sells, burns and approval revokes are free.

After unwrapping

The ETH lands directly in your wallet as native ETH β€” spendable for gas, transfers, anything. Most wallets show native ETH separately from tokens, so your balance updates immediately after the transaction confirms.
